Busy Little BG Bees 02.18.06 - Septimus

Sadly, BG has been very busy lately. Kill this NM, clear this Limbus, beat up that Jailer. It doesn't allow us time to do what the Linkshell is best at- cybering our NPCs.

The first disturbance to the NPC cybering came when we scrubbed Proto Ultima out of Temenos. The fight seemed much more controlled; the joy of experience.

And for our trouble of scouring Limbus of the scourge of Ultima, we got these.

Congratulations to Nikkei for Nashira Manteel, Nirokun for Nashira Turban, and Senkhi for Nashira Crackows.

As far as Sea goes, Jailer of Temperance, Ix'Aern MNK, Jailer of Faith, Ix'Aern DRK, and Jailer of Fortitude have been keeping us busy. Now that everyone in BG is cleared for Sea again, we hope to be getting back to some more Jailers.

Some members decided to take a small group to Cactrot one night for a little fun. Why Cactrot Rapido you little minx! You did that in broad daylight?!

Along the way, we got a King Behemoth. Drops weren't that great, but at least the screen shots look pretty.

We also rubbed out a few runs in Apollyon.

(Mimics come running for the great taste of Taru-snacks.)

Southwestern Apollyon ended with a photo finish.

Then we went back to Dynamis - Beaucedine to get Xarcabard access for some of our newer members. (Scout's Socks for Blazer.) It was one of the smoothest clears that we have had to date; we even had the time after killing Angra Mainyu and the 4 dragons to farm a little bit.

Unfortunately, there was an incident where some people were a little too close to an Orc NM when they shouldn't be, and high jinks ensued.

Congratulations to Barada on his new title: "Elitist Exterminator"

Then up to Dragon’s Aery for a Nidhogg win. Score Neptunal Legs for Tengaar.

Feeling that Vrtra needed some cybering, we visited him as well. Regrettably, Vrtra doesn't like to cyber, so we had to settle for killing him instead.

BG finally made our long-awaited return to Dynamis - Xarcabard. Although a very unproductive farming run, (Melee Crown for Thepunisher) it was still nice to start getting back into the swing of things.

That's it for this update. I know that I speak for every member of BG when I say that we hope that this new update finally includes the /cyber command for NPC Fellows.

News and stuff 02.03.06 - Septimus

Every busy doing things to keep the reading populace happy, here comes the new update.

One of the fun things we get to do in BG are the KS99 fights. All of the fun of a land king, without the hassle of claiming. Our favorite would probably be Chlevnik, so we recently did 6 runs for our members. Picture goodness follows.

(I call that last photo "See Wookie run".)

We recently went to Dynamis - Windurst to get a clear for some of our newer members and some other random people. We had a slight mishap on the bridge and someone fell though to the water below. After a brief stop for a humorous encounter with a very cool GM, we went back to work and cleared it.

We were going to do another Temenos run, but since another LS was in the path we wanted to do, we went to Apollyon instead. We did a rather fun romp in North-western Apollyon and netted a lot of ancient beastmen coins. More picture goodness follows.

Enjoy the Valentine's Day Event.
