With patch 3.2’s launch it seems a good time to evaluate our progress over the last few months, and share what’s been going on inside Blue Garter. We’ve performed better than many of us had probably expected, while still remaining semi-casual and maintaining a friendly environment for our members. As the image says, we raid two days a week, yet still manage to accomplish more than many guilds do in five. We’ve taken on a decent number of new members, changing our roster significantly from our rebirth in WOTLK. That being said, we’ve also had to say Goodbye to many of our friends and colleagues, as they move forward with their lives and out of the World of Warcraft scene.
Late and necessary congratulations are in order for Arvz, obtaining our first Ulduar legendary Mace. His dedication to the guild and its progress goes unmatched within our ranks, making his candidacy for this accomplishment a no-brainer. We all owe him our thanks for putting together raids and coordinating strategies for our path through Wrath’s content. It’s a shame however, as he has developed colon cancer and soon will be leaving this world - if only he followed Mitzki’s advice, and used the water bowl method for cleaning his anus after each bowel movement.
We’ve recently been recruiting, and still are looking for some skilled and dedicated individuals to join our ranks. We can only hope you are not annoying on ventrilo, act incredibly juvenile, or make excuses for all your mistakes in raid. If this doesn’t sound like a description of your play style - please submit an application on the forum.
First night of Firefighter attempts and got to phase 4. Next update when we kill it.
See you Thursday!~
