With all current raid content farmed a day or two a week, a few of us have risked precious hours of our time battling the lag of the PTR. It may not be the most update-worthy moment of our week, but the times we’ve had disconnecting and experiencing constant errors has been too much fun not to share.
Occasionally we’ve been able to participate in what PTR was intended, and test the challenges of Ulduar to come.
A few guildies got on to try the vehicle encounter. I can’t say much about the fight, because I was just listening on vent… BUT for what it’s worth when they weren’t crashing or lagging out, it sounded like it could be fun!!
Earlier today they had up Ignis the Honey Pot Monster. His Winnie the Pooh tactics of dumping us inside his pot of honey did not act as much of a challenge, and was quickly bested by our use of Tigger and Piglet maneuvers. My retarded sense of humor aside, the encounter really didn’t seem very challenging. Deaths seemed to only be produced by lag and him apparently wigging out. Still, it felt good to kill something new.
